Hooked: How Crafting Saved My Life by Sutton Foster

5.0

Recently I responded to a FB meme about "You have been cursed with the job of the main character of the last book you read," with "Ooooh... this is a good question to read while reading Sutton Foster's Hooked! I think that means I get to be a hoofer and a belter and a crafter, which is kinda just me, but at a higher skill level." OK, a much higher skill level, but still, all things I do and love.

I must say, though, from my particular experiential lens, I think everyone has mom issues, so kudos to Sutton Foster for sharing hers in such an open way, with a therapeutically healthy dose of her mantra of "acceptance without expectations". I love when success principles show up in a book where you don't necessarily expect them; it doesn't matter where you learn the lesson so long as you actually do.
