I didn’t really enjoy PS I Love You and I don’t have a good track record with this author. I think her writing style isn’t for me.
This kind of seemed like it was trying to highlight weak spots in her relationship with Gerry and if I had loved the first book, this would’ve felt like a betrayal. I guess it could be showing the weird journey of grief in that you don’t want to think badly of someone who died and are more likely to put the person on a pedestal in your mind. However, after 7 years, Holly is willing to face some hard truths. Idk, it was mostly a speed read as I wasn’t invested.
