Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.
I hate this since I bought the second one too, but I just don't care. I missed important info early on whether that be my own fault or the writing's fault (which is pretty bad). the more confused I am in a book, the more I skim, the more I skim, the more confused I get.
honestly there is just nothing compelling about this. I do not care about the competition that started way too early on in the book without any world building. then there's gonna be a bunch of rebel stuff also way too early on. do not get me started on this romance good lord.
super tragic because first of all look at this cover, but I just don't want to waste my time on clear low-three-star-reads
