Amos and Emerson are old friends, Amos even married Emerson's childhood best friend. Now in their 50s, while celebrating Emerson's birthday, something happens that has the possibility to cause a permanent rift between the two families. I enjoyed this book not because of the main story being told, but more about what it's like to marry and befriend people that are richer than you.
