Bruce, Bryan's brother, returns to LA to help Sophie as she deals with a ghost and she is in way over her head at first. It is nice to see Sophie return in this book. She was a great supportive character in the last one and in this case it is her in the spotlight. Heather Graham manages to make the involvement of Bruce, a PI, seem plausible and natural. I am constantly in awe how she manages to create unique characters even 26 books in a series. Absolutely amazing. And this case is super interesting, too. Who is trying to recreate the Black Dahlia murders? The case definitely kept me on my toes and I had a fantastic time trying to solve it alongside Bruce and Sophie!
