Paper Girls #19 by Matt Wilson, Cliff Chiang, Brian K. Vaughan

2.0

I loved the line work and the setting. As an individual that can remember what 1988 was like, I think this captured the feel of it relatively closely. The issue was extra long than most issues, so that was nice. Once again, I find that Brian K. Vaughan's dialogue just doesn't quite work for me. I feel that with a lot of his stuff he is just trying too hard and it isn't natural. I just don't believe the premise of this graphic novel series is something I'm going to be able to get into. I may try the volume sometime from my library system but it isn't high on my list.
