This is my first book by Adriana Locke and I loved her writing style. The inner monologues in each POV is funny, real and raw… had me laughing and getting teary. The tension, the banter, the grief and pain they both carry, the healing they find if beautiful. The children are so relatable and the way grief is portrayed for the kids but also for the adults was approachable and real. It pulled me in…so good!
