i like how this book taps into human's emotion/thoughts in the most bare and raw way. main character of each stories are problematic, but their actions/thoughts are not romanticized which i think is the biggest reason i love the book although digesting these is definitely not an easy ride. definitely going to read other ottessa mosfegh's books!
