Prisoner
by Annika Martin, Skye Warren
So much better than I expected. I love Carolyn Crane but haven't read anything she's written as Annika Martin. This book had her signature all over it: amazingly crafted characters that felt so real, so unique, so lovable. So well written.
And omg this book did not let up. One crazy thing after the other. I loved how it just kept getting more and more intense and how Abby and Grayson just kept being so strong and growing together. I loved how the power dynamic would shift between them and loved seeing Abby be a BOSS even though she's a prissy book nerd lol and how she went into crazy mode when Grayson was in danger.
Definitely dark, when it comes to what Grayson endured and how he became how he was, but I thought it was done pretty tastefully done especially compared to some of the other books I've read along the same lines.
