I have heard of this book for years, but was pretty scared to pick it up because of fear of how OCD would be portrayed. As someone with severe OCD, I had lots of issues with the OCD portrayal but, at the same time, I think some things were done well.

The story’s pacing was okay, but there’s not really much of a plot so it was a little uneventful. I did not like the twist at the end AT ALL. Sam imagining Caroline’s existence is leaning more toward psychosis, not OCD. The whole poet’s corner is so weird. That is just a creepy room underneath a janitor closet?? You guys aren’t concerned about that shit caving in or being a health hazard?

The romance was meh and I didn’t care for it, it was rushed and underdeveloped. She was saying “I love you” after like 2 weeks of dating?? Girl what?

I did want to mention….Arctic Monkeys was name dropped!!!!! We love good music taste.
