This book was great, it was just a lot lot darker than I thought it was going to be (that’s on me) and I found it really quite terrifying at times.
However I think the characters of Jake and Sawyer were very well developed and it was interesting to see the power balance shift in their relationship.
I loved the characters of Fiona and Alister and the final two chapters of the book were my favourite, it wrapped up their relationships with Jake perfectly and left me feeling quite happy after the darkness of the rest of the book.
Very much a confronting read (definitely look at trigger warnings) but definitely well written
