The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson

Did not finish book.

I'm still fairly new to the fantasy genre, and despite the incredible reviews on this book and Brandon Sanderson in general, this was very lack-luster for my taste. There was a lot of world building and story setting, and the plot was moving entirely too slow for my taste.

I really had to force myself to finish this book and I had to skip through certain chapters were nothing much seemed to happen.

I like the overall concept, I thought the characters and the "twist" was great and I enjoyed the character development... However, it wasn't plot-packed enough for my taste and I really had to force myself to keep on with it.
