Sometimes, when life is busy, you’ve just got to listen to a book that soothes your brain and feels like a warm hug. That’s exactly what this book was; expertly narrated, well written, absolute fun.
I adore the fact that we’re following a spoilt motor-crazed toad whose dramas genuinely made me laugh out loud several times whilst listening. The fact that he is ultimately saved by the loveliest found family just adds a layer of absolute heart and joy to this tale. Honestly, this book was exactly what I needed and I am so glad I listened to it. If you need a brain break, I can’t recommend it enough.
