The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

4.0

I wasn't sure that this was going to be something I liked. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the way Addie's life was told. How her story was written. I loved the bargain she made in that moment because it was so real. It was something I feel like I would have done in that moment in time. I get goosebumps thinking about it. Sometimes desperation can feel forced and that was not the case for this book. The need and the want and the terror was so clearly written. I love it.
