"You could rattle the stars. You could do anything, if you only dared.”
4 ⭐️
This is the first time I’ve read this book for at least ten years. After the events of House of Sky and Breath I decided to reread all SJM books to see what I pick out. A Maas mass reread if you will.
Considering how long it had been since I read the book I did find myself remembering the details and events as I went. This book (and I’m sure Crown of Midnight will feel the same) they feel very different from SJM’s other books, but I still enjoyed it. I forgot how much I loved our FMC’s ✨sparkling✨ personality. I can’t wait for all the feminine rage.
TWs: War themes, slavery, murder, ref to r*pe, graphic depictions of violence and injury, death of a parent
