I’m not sure what I was expecting with this book, but I just didn’t get it. It’s interesting and honestly the ending is beyond predictable and that annoyed me. I was hoping it would go a different direction with the ending but alas, the typical predictable ending it was which took my enjoyment of this book down a notch.
Besides the predictability, this book needs a TON of trigger warnings - child abuse, infidelity, child death, miscarriage, abortion, spousal abuse, post-partum depression, mental illness, divorce - I’m sure I’m missing some. This book is basically a giant trigger warning with a predictable ending.
