Clay Johnson & Giana Jones
I had a hard time rating this book. The first 70% was good, then it kind of went off the rails into cliche stupid plot lines. It probably would have been a 4.0 or 4.25 star book based on the first 70%. I thought Clay & Giana had a lot of chemistry and their spicy scenes were hot. Clay reading romance novels to understand what Giana likes was so adorable. But the contrived conflict and breakup was so dumb and the solution and grand gesture was dumb as well. I did enjoy the found family in Clay’s teammates Holden, Zeke, and Riley. Zeke & Riley we’re from book #1 and Holden is next in book #3.
