I think this book could have been really, really good. I did not think the characters and their interactions were fleshed out very well, and I honestly did not like the main character (Millie) much - especially in part one of the book. Sometimes the writing felt repetitive or clunky.
I really enjoyed Nina’s character though, before and after the plot unfolded. I also did not expect the direction the plot went with, and still enjoyed this book despite the flaws I felt with the writing and characters.
This book felt like watching reality TV, you know it’s not the best TV you’ve ever seen, but you’re still enjoying it. I will finish this series, the story was very entertaining.
