So I'm giving this book three stars. After reading all those contemporary books I needed a break and this book was perfect for my break. I like Izzy. She's a strong young female that just wants to prove herself and fit in. I like that she's not overly emotional and doesn't complain all the time. I'm surprised that I liked Dex because he isn't like the other male characters that I like. But he happens to be one of the realest male characters I've read about even though this is a fantasy book. This might not be one of my favorites but I enjoyed it. It's cute and funny and it wasn't a waste. I'm not sure but I might continue reading this series!
