Pride and Prescience: Or, a Truth Univesally Acknowledged by Carrie Bebris

4.0

So this wasn't the most difficult "whodunit" to figure out, but I have to say I enjoyed the book anyway. Bebris stayed true to the way Austen wrote her characters and I was pleased with that. I liked seeing Lizzie and Darcy work together sleuthing. I also liked how she gave a realism to their marriage - she didn't just make them hopelessly in love with each other, there were fights and make-up's that seemed to fit who they were individually and who they were becoming as a couple.

I enjoyed the new characters that Bebris created. Very rich and full of interesting details.

I'll definitely be going out and getting the 2nd in her Mr. and Mrs. Darcy Mystery series.
