Like the preceding books in this series, I don't have a proper review. I can't summon the right words that might coherently explain why I loved this book so intensely. You wouldn't know it based on how long it took me to read it, but that's neither here nor there. It was an incredible read, and absolutely one of my favorite books this year. This series is probably one of the best fantasy series' I've read in a long time, and I can't wait to read more from this author.

Honestly, this entire series was just a breath of fresh air. I know I was severely late to reading it, and that's okay. I can't think of any other fantasy series I've read quite like this one. The setting, the worldbuilding, the characters... I don't think anything happened the way I was expecting it to, but I also can't imagine anything happening any differently either. Everything happened the way I feel it was supposed to, and with a book this large and a world this vast, I'm impressed that I'm not searching for answers to any lingering questions; I think everything was wrapped up pretty neatly.

I also really enjoyed the audiobook narrator. That means I have no idea how half the names in this book are spelt, but if I'd read it myself, I probably wouldn't have pronounced many of them correctly either. You win some, you lose some.

I need a physical copy of this book. Of the whole trilogy. I think one day I will read it again, and maybe a little faster next time when I do.

This book was great. You don't need my crummy review to tell you that. If you liked the other two books, this one won't disappoint.
