I was mesmerized by the book from the get-go. Never had I read something so vividly beautiful and deeply drenched in the mythology of gods and goddesses, beasts and spirits. It reminded me of the magic of watching Spirited Away as a child, filling me with the same feeling of awe, wonder and hope. I feel like I could read thousands of pages of this world and never be sick of it. And how the characters grew on me and started to feel so real.
I can't recommend this book enough, if you are a sensitive soul like me who dreams of gods, spirits and love.
