As I started this book, I realised how little I knew about Frankenstein despite it being a classic. I knew there was a monster created by Frankenstein but that was it. I was expecting scary but instead found got sad. I felt bad for every character in this book. Not quite 5 starts as I found it quite hard to get into and only got sucked in once Frankenstein returned to Geneva.

Dan Steven's narration was excellent, really captured the despair
