Simply the Best by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Picked up this book at the library and thought it’d be a fun mix of romance and mystery. I slowly crawled my way through it, never really looking forward to picking it up. But also, wanted to keep going to see what happens. It’s the story of a sports agent, Brett, who falls for his client’s (famous football player) sister, Rory, but everything gets messy when there is a murder in the football players house. At about 90% it picks up for about 5 pages and then turns for the worse. The ending is every relationship red flag and it’s so unbelievable that the entire story is within the span of 1 month. To me it screamed “unhealthy relationship.” Not a fan.
