The audiobook narrator was amazing. The characters were amazing. The plot was whimsical and charming and sweet and had the best slow burn. There were unexpected twists and strangers that turn into family.

The lore that Mandanna weaves (orphaned witch children, glittering gold magic, international, secret networks of witches) was unique and encompassing.
The characters were thoughtfully written and so entertaining. I was laughing constantly with Ian’s matchmaking, the girls’ antics, and Jamie’s gruff, loving ways.
The slow burn between Mika and Jamie was amazing. And then to watch the slow burn burst into an inferno…
