It took me a long time to get through the first part of this book. So much exposition in the first 1/3rd that there were times it felt like a slog. Around the halfway mark it picked up and I really enjoyed the rest.
I think I have similar complaints of this one as I do for Yours For The Taking - Gabrielle Korn has interesting ideas but at times feels like she’s trying to do too much in too short of a book, so things don’t dive as deep as they could.
Loveable queer characters and climate change horror and a compelling second half have me averaging out a 3.5 and a 4.5 to a 4
