This was not what I was expecting after starting Neil Gaiman’s books with Good Omens, but it was surprisingly full of depth and made me pause and reflect on more than one occasion. It made me want to go study mythology of all different cultures to understand most of the clever references. The few I did catch revealed that the author definitely did a lot of research here. Looking forward to watching the TV series now.
