The second book was much more creepy than the last and had more twists to offer. It is even more different than the first book is from the TV series and I liked that we were able to change the MC to Kylan now, to get more insights and a completely new POV. The MC builds his character up till the end of the book, I think it was a good development but not the strongest there ever was. We get to see Thra better and travel from one place to the next, which is a nice way to add more lore and details to the worldbuilding, which I enjoyed a lot, as well as the pictures included!
