I loved this book ♡ I haven't really read many age gap romances, but I'm currently obsessed with hockey romance, and the age gap trope played into this very well.
Nina was spunky and fun and sure of herself but also a very realistic character with her anxiety.
Rhode is older but seems lost and not sure what he wants in life, but when he meets Nina, his life changes for the better, especially when he gets over his age gap issues.
There is a third act breakup, but it's expected and very well done.
I finished this book and kept smiling. The banter was so great! I can't even begin to explain how many times I highlighted quotes, and my note was "lol" or "dead" or "I'm wheezing" or "lmao" just wonderful.
The growth that both Nina and Rhode went through during the book was lovely, and I loved the family bonding and also the bro-mances ♡
I hope there will be more books with the other characters 🤞🏻🤞🏻
