I love a good found family story. This has a quirky cast of characters, ghosts, and a lighthearted uplifting story. As you find out, each of the characters has had some past traumatic or dark experiences or is hurting in some emotional way, but the point of the book is not about focusing on that but on moving past it. For a magical realism book, it is very domestic and a nice uplifting read!
