I'm having so much fun rereading Tamora Pierce's books. It's like literary comfort food. This first book in Alanna's story in particular is one of my favorites. It has a bunch of elements that all come together in an awesome climax, and plus it's just plain fun. And I always love going back to the start of a writer's career and seeing how their writing has grown over time.
