Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay

2.0

I got this book as a 'blind date' where all I saw was a brief description so its unlikely that I would have picked it otherwise. This book was actually somewhat brilliant because its a serial killer who you can't help but like. Sadly, it became somewhat repetitive with the killings and from chapter one I was just waiting until he met the cop. It was predictable in a lot of ways and generally too gruesome for me. Now I can't say anything about the ending because the kills became too much for me, it may have been the most surprising thing to happen in literary history, but overall this book was not for me.
