I'm so upset because I loved most of this book. Most of it. And then the ending...
I enjoyed the unreliable narrator and the shifting perspectives and the crafting of the mystery. It was genuinely so tragic at points and I really did feel my heart aching, and then the ending. The ending really fucking pissed me off.Look, don't get me wrong, I'm so happy Theo didn't die, I liked that part of it a lot, but why the fuck did he have to be bertie, Sadie's grandfather? And why did Sadie and Peter have to get together. Stupid and unnecessary and I'm a bitter hater
ALSO: Sadie sparrow is a stupid fucking name
