Black Rabbit Hall
by Eve Chase
I found the story to be just ok. I loved Amber's sections. Lorna's were more slow and harder to get through. A typical old house story. Mom dies, dad remarries a woman who doesn't like the dad's kids, sister falls for step brother. People die. Someone in current times tries to unravel the history of the family. Current-time lady's story is entangled with the original family's story. I felt like the dad remarrying and growing somewhat distant from the children is an over-used story line. I was also able to guess what the twist was going to be the moment Amber met Lucian. I did enjoy the way grief affected everyone differently.
