kuco 's review for:
Ender's Game
by Orson Scott Card
I'm just getting into reading after going through school and marriage and having 2 kids. Not too sure which genre I'm really drawn to, I'm approaching reading books like I do with movies... if it's won awards or receive lots of good reviews, "it's got to be good"... of course not always. So according to amazon, 5451 reviewers rate this 4.5 stars and eventhough science fiction does not seem like an obvious choice for me, I was definitely intrigued. I'm so glad I did. I really enjoyed reading about how a gifted 6 year old boy is recruited for training for battle against the buggers to save the human race and all the struggles he went through from leaving his family and fitting in back home and even during training due to his uniqueness. I also heard it was going to be turned into a movie and I'm excited to watch how the book is portrayed by the movie and then say "the book is so much better"
