This is simply a marvelous series. It is one so full of unique full characters, incredible worldbuilding, and all the morality and questions for a lifetime. It is not one for the light hearted, with torture and millions upon millions of death, those of statistics and those personal tragedies.
It is a book I adore, I love the questions of what make one's human from Rose's quandaries to those of DNA. What is good and what is evil. What is right and what is necessary.
The audiobook is splendid with a full cast of voices yet I cannot wait to get a physical book so I can pick up on a little details I missed. It is one I will definately be rereading and loving again and again.

I was going to give it four stars and realized that was too low for the quality of enjoyment and substance. I loved the flip of the revelation of DNA and the epilogue.
