This is the first book in a while that made me cry😭 First of all, I love how this book was written from the victim's point of view, in the first person. It's narrative was deeply impactful and shed light on the effects of sexual assault on the victim. The plot told the painful story of Eden as she changed due to the trauma.

Amber Smith's writing style was perfect for the story. It successfully conveyed the emotions yet remained easy to understand. When you decide to pick up this book, make sure you are prepared to feel the pain. Eden's struggles to overcome the trauma were truly heart-wrenching; it was difficult to read. Fortunately, the ending was perfect!

Apart from Amber Smith's success in depicting a sexual assault victim's struggles, she is also aware that many girls out there have suffered what Eden has been through. At the end of the book, she provided a contact for victims to call if they have no one to talk to.

Overall, it was my best read for the month! Although it exhausted me emotionally, it was a great read, and I strongly recommend that you read the book if you want to understand the depth of pain!
