Stephen McCranie's Space Boy Volume 7 by Stephen McCranie

5.0

Coming back to this comic always feels very comforting. I like being reminded of all the small things that I forgot from when I was first catching up on the webcomic!
In this volume, Amy is even more determined to figure out Oliver's secret. However, she endangers herself more than she realizes. At the same time, the homecoming prom (and the finale of the first arc!) approaches with all its drama.
I really appreciate finding certain aspects in the comic that are foreshadowing later events! Especially when Amy tries to make sense of her discoveries. It's a very enjoyable read! Although, the new friendships Amy has made are being sidelined by her need to find out about Oliver, which is a bit sad to see. The upside is that there is still a lot of character development in the side characters befriending each other in Amy's absence, so I didn't mind at all.
The story continues with stunning character depth and increasing suspense. I can't wait for the next volume!
