“You cannot pick and choose what parts of her to love.”

The Throne of Glass series has, thankfully, completely morphed into a very different being from [b:Throne of Glass|7896527|Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1)|Sarah J. Maas|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1335819760s/7896527.jpg|11138426], and although [b:Crown of Midnight|17167166|Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2)|Sarah J. If you read Throne of Glass for the romance and the light-hearted take on a teenage assassin then you won't like this book at all, but if you were like me and were so frustrated by ToG and what Maas made of a girl assassin then Heir of Fire will redeem the series for you.

Celaena is no longer a girl, but a woman. She has come into her own and grown, accepting her flaws and mistakes. She is no longer a coward.
