The Demon Prince of Momochi House, Vol. 5 by Aya Shouoto

4.0

When it comes to this series, I seem to have a love/hate relationship with it. I adore the art style. Shouoto definitely knows how to draw all of the pretty anime boys. What I keep not loving is the depth of the characters. One of the things I love about reading manga, is the deep exploration we get with the characters. This one feels very surface level so far. I'm going to give it a couple more volumes to truly make up my mind about it though. It's a bit of a struggle bus for me.
That said, I loved getting to know a little more about the origins of some of the people around Aoi and Momochi. It's interesting to see their backgrounds, and that gives us some insight on why they behave the way that they do. The couple like moments in this volume were quite nice as well.
