eh. would make a very mediocre Lifetime movie. the idea is so interesting, but the writing is not very good. i liked the main character, and it was a quick read, but i wouldn't have finished this (or started it) if it wasn't a bookclub choice. i do think it could have been a good discussion though; touched on a lot of interesting topics.

adding later: just looked at other reviews and while many agree with me i'm sort of shocked at the number of people who liked it!
