Another graphic novel installation, another new artist. This was one of my least favorite of the art I have seen so far. It can be because I liked the one in Ghoul Goblin and did not appreciate a change in artist again. I find it a shame because in terms of the story, War Cry is more related to the novel than Ghoul Goblin is. We actually see some of the wardens and it would have been cool to see them done justice. I found the art messy and distracting, it could have used a whole lot more polish. We have 2 page spreads that in regular  comics is supposed to highlight the action and the art but in this case just exposes the lack of finesse in the art

A plus for this book is definitely seeing more of the characters from the novel and that this tackles events in the novel series like the War with the Red Court. I was excited to see Thomas but sadly, the art....we come back to that point again
