This is absolutely nothing like I thought it would be from reading the back. It wasn’t how a “normal” dystopian novel would be laid out. So at first I was a little confused, I wasn’t sure if I would like it, it wasn’t quite what I was looking for.
But dang, this is a beautiful book. I enjoyed reading it so much. It was heartwarming and heart-wrenching. I think the sequel will be more like what I thought this would be. But recommend this book!
