Boy's Life by Robert R. McCammon

4.0

Have you ever read a book that has a town full of characters that felt so alive that you're almost convinced it's really out there somewhere? This is like the Gilmore Girls' Stars Hollow. Only with less humor and more paranormal undertones, set in the 60s, and with a young boy at the center of it all. Ok, so maybe nothing like Stars Hollow. But I loved how real this book was (minus one weird chapter about kids pretending to ride flying bikes). This book has a lot going on, some parts of it more enthralling than others. But overall I finished this (long) book glad that I read it. This book will stick with me.
