Truly SUCH a quick read. I barreled through this-- it was one of those that you didn't want to put down because you just knew something was coming but you didn't know exactly what.

It does require you to get over how unrealistic the premise is, but honestly it wasn't too difficult for me. I wanted to believe that teenagers could be useful to the FBI, so I did. Simply choose to believe, guys. I liked the switching POVs-- I think Marney did a really great job with informing the reader of information before the characters in the book knew the information. It really helped build a sense of dread in me as I was reading.

Really I'm pretty happy with what's on the page. I think I would have liked more information on Bell just generally. I think Emma was such a fleshed out character that I wish Travis got the same treatment. I also thought this could have done with some more twists, maybe? It was like we were building up to the end only, but I would have liked to gasp more in the middle sections, too, rather than those sections just being used to bring us toward the climax at the end of the story.

I will be picking up the sequel literally right after this.
