Red String Theory
by Lauren Kung Jessen
Disappointingly, the title was the best executed idea in the book. The ideas in this book were interesting and I thought the premise was adorable. Unfortunately though, the writing was exhausting. The characters say every tiny thing in their absolutely unbelievable dialogue and the author hits you over the head with themes about fate versus choice by smashing you over the head with them. Really a shame because if it had been treated better it could have been a literary twist of the genre.
