I had a delightful time with this book. I loved the story, I thought it was a unique premise. Felt very fairy tale esque without feeling like a retelling. 

The legends and lore aspect was well thought out without feeling too overwhelming. I loved the characters and their arcs. Vanja’s heartache at simply wanting to be wanted was extremely compelling.
