Cinder Edna by Ellen Jackson

2.0

While I appreciate that this book is trying to teach children the value of hard work, I dislike that it did so at the expense of another person--in this case, praising Cinder Edna while attacking Cinder Ella. I would not feel comfortable allowing children to read a book that teaches them to be negative towards those who behave differently. After all, the old proverb says to never judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes... or in this case, glass slippers.
