enchantedbibliophile 's review for:
Infanta
by Deon Meyer
This book touched on many subjects that is a huge issue in South Africa. Meyer masterfully merge all the good and bad of what our beautiful country have to offer.
The reason I only rate it 2stars is plain because I know - reading thirteenth hour, before Devil's Peak - that Meyer has so much more potential. In Devil's Peak (Infanta) he has the tendency to drag, to give unnecessary explanations or over indulge in describing scenery.
Still if I would've read this one before reading Thirteenth Hour, I would have really liked it.
Do yourself a favour and read this one before you read the next books in the series.
