I thought this book was a bit darker than Tom Sawyer. It focused on slavery and racism a lot more than Tom Sawyer did. I enjoyed learning more about Huckleberry Finn. He had a very hard life. And of course, him trying to help Jim escape slavery is very nice to see. I’m glad I read this book.
